I ordered the Tortoiseshell Glasses item# GLB. NOT the pretty plastic rectangle ones, the metal framed ones. The top glsses in the pic on this page: http://store.americangirl.com/pls/ag...&groupid=87594
When they arrived, they were a brighter mustard yellow color with tan camouflage looking pattern. Not at all what I expected.
At first I was going to return them, but they kind of grew on me.I still wish they actually had the look I expected.
Has anyone else bought these? Are they all like that? I can post a pic if I need to.

I had the same experience. They grew on me a little, but not enough. I didn't send them back, but gave them to a little girl I babysit for.
They just didn't meet my expectations at all, but luckily I was able to get the rectangle glasses, which I like much more.
I love that AG makes glasses; it's a little thing that I appreciate. I hope they make black ones, either in the rectangle plastic frame, or in the oval shape like the lilac ones.
Didn't we see photos of orange AG glasses this summer? Whatever came of those?

Yes, I plan to try to order the plastic framed ones while I still have the free shipping code.It is the tiny items that it really irks me to pay shipping on, lol.

I have a pair from many years ago . . . even though I gave away my AGTs, I kept the glasses! "Mustard" is a good word for the color. I used to wear tortoiseshell glasses, and still have them, and the color of the yellow is very similar to the AG glasses. They look very authentic to me, but I might have a different "dye lot" since mine are old.
